Dog Behaviour and Training

Behaviour Consultations

Most unwanted behaviour in dogs can be adjusted with a little training, but sometimes the problem is a little deeper and the dog needs a bit more help. You may need a behaviour consultation if you are experiencing one of the following:

Life Skills Training

Training is where work is needed to iron out unacceptable, problem behaviours but they don’t stop you from taking your dog with you or prevent you from doing things with them. I offer one to one training for any behaviours that you would like to stop. This can include:

Dog Training Workshops

Loose Lead Training

Getting pulled by your dog when on a lead? This workshop will help make your walks more enjoyable for both of you.

Recall Training

This workshop is designed to increase your dog’s interest in you and desire to come back to you when out on a walk.

Life Skills Are Fun

This is a games based workshop, improving on various skills that are critical to a well behaved and engaged dog.

Gun Dog Training

This workshop will teach you how to ‘work’ your pet gun dog in a fun and practical way adding to your every day activities.

Scentwork Training

Learning how to use your dog’s nose to build your relationship and tire them out mentally with this powerful sense for dogs.
