Select an appropriate sized dressing
Handle it with care at the corner to prevent contamination
Place the wound dressing – shiny side down – onto the wound
Select an appropriate width padding bandage
Begin at the paw, looping over the toes
Then begin bandaging up towards the limb – overlapping each spiral
Continue bandaging to above the joint and tear off excess padding
Apply the conforming layer of bandaging with a bit of tension – cut off excess
Then apply the outer protective layer to cover the conforming layer
